Islamabad: Qaiser Nawab, President of the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD), held a significant meeting with Malik Mohammad Habib Khan, the former Interior and Narcotics Minister of Pakistan, to deliberate on critical national issues.
The discussions centered on current challenges related to law and order, counter-terrorism measures, and the pivotal role of youth engagement in fostering peace and prosperity within society.
Sardar Waqar Khan, Head of Internationalization and Diplomatic Engagement at the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD) and the Global Strategic Institute for Sustainable Development (GSISD) was also present during the meeting. He emphasized the importance of creating international partnerships to combat terrorism and promote sustainable peace. “Youth must be empowered not only locally but also through global platforms to ensure a united front against extremism and violence,” he remarked.
Qaiser Nawab highlighted BRISD’s commitment to sustainable development and community resilience, while Malik Mohammad Habib Khan shared his insights on enhancing national security frameworks. All participants agreed on the urgent need for collaborative strategies and emphasized the power of youth as agents of positive change.
The meeting concluded with a shared vision of a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan, driven by innovative approaches and strategic partnerships at both national and international levels.
